Prepare to be aMAZED!!! Seriously, what is more PUZZLING than a mind-blowing illusion? This husband and wife team take the stage to share some spectacular sights, with the ultimate goal of making Jesus real to their audience! The Laflins quickly learned on the mission field that the intriguing platform of illusion is an awesome tool. It attracts people to come and listen which allows them the opportunity to share the real truth of Jesus Christ, and that he has a PLAN for our lives. More than entertainers, David and Teesha are also gifted speakers. They are beyond excited to be sharing at VAPC this year.

Our VAPC kids love awesome music! Let's be real...Music moves you, and for most, it quickly becomes an important PIECE in our lives, usually at a very young age! It is one of GOD's greatest gifts to us! It is a means of expression...and for young people, one of the most meaningful ways to express worship. Many times, it is in these sessions that your young people will open their hearts and seek to CONNECT with God! We are excited to have the Towne South Praise Band lead this year's VAPC in praise and worship throughout this amazing weekend. This servant-hearted and gifted band of musicians is led by Will Lane, and the vocal lead is Caleb Giffin. Together with Towne South's Teen JAM team, led by Sarah Baker and Kassidy Malo, our kids are truly in for a dynamic time of worship.

Triple Verse Challenge: We want as many as possible to learn all three verses of Jer. 29: 11-13. Yes, three verses!!! Just like any puzzle, you need all the pieces to see the big picture, and we won’t ever attain what we’re promised in verse 11, if we don’t follow through with 12 and 13! There will be “Game Stop Stations” in multiple places where the students can recite a verse(es)and receive one of three puzzle pieces. Once they recite all three verses and have assembled all three pieces, they complete the challenge and they have their prize. This is a great thing to begin working on as a youth group before you get here! Our time together is full, and it is short at the VAPC… sooo don’t wait for that weekend…learn them now, and you’ll be some of the first to meet this awesome challenge! Check out the VAPC website and Facebook in January to find the Jeremiah 29:11-13 memory & motion video to help your group learn these amazing verses! We would love to highlight “on stage” some groups or individuals that meet the Triple Verse Challenge during the sessions.

Put that game controller down! And pick up a cube! It’s time to get ready and try your skills for the 2020 VAPC Rubik Challenge!!! There will be a set time in this year’s programming where we will highlight those who will join us on the VAPC stage and accept the challenge! There will be prizes for 1st through 3rd places! Challenge rules: All wishing to participate need to fill out and place a slip in provided box at the round table in the lobby. There will be multiple contestants chosen. We will provide the unsolved cube for each contestant, and the first three to completely solve their cube will be awarded some fun prizes! And, of course, we will celebrate everyone who accepted the challenge!
