The planning and execution of these conventions is done solely on a volunteer basis!
Children's ministers and ministry volunteers from all across the state of Virginia gather several times throughout the year to prep and plan each of these conventions. If you or someone you know is interested in helping us out, send us your info and we'll give you the skinny!

DON'T MISS OUT on our NEXT PLANNING MEETING!
The members of the Virginia Preteen Convention planning team are excited to invite you to join us at our semi-annual planning meeting at Fairmount Christian Church on January 13, 2020 from 10 am - 5 pm and January 14, 2020 from 9 am to 1 pm.This team meets twice annually to plan and execute this one-of-a-kind convention. In this meeting we will be continue planning efforts for #VAPC2020 and beyond!
We have such an exciting and fun time when we are planning this incredible convention and we are always looking for people to join our team. This is also a great time of networking with others who serve in similar capacities as yourself - you'll get ideas and build friendships that will enhance your own ministry in many ways.
As a courtesy to you, and to make this event more feasible for those of you who need to travel for this meeting, the VAPC will provide lunch Monday and hotel accommodations Monday night (dinner Monday night is on your own). If you are able to attend, we recommend asking around your neck of the woods and looking for a carpooler to road trip with, sing crazy songs with, and make random pit stops for snacks and coffee!
Please prayerfully consider becoming a part of a great convention that loves and desires for 4th & 5th graders to discover God in creative, challenging, and age-appropriate ways. Those of us who have been doing this for a while can tell you how this convention has not only changed our lives, but our ministries and the lives of countless kids and sponsors as well.
If you plan to join us at Fairmount, please let us know in advance so we can prepare our meeting area and make hotel arrangements if needed. Please RSVP to info@vapreteenconvention.org or reply on. Also, do not be afraid to come for a portion of any period of the planning meeting. We understand that schedules are busy and time is precious.
We look forward to seeing you!
Sincerely,
VAPC Planning Team
